I've been as a stallion. For a top it's a dream come true... all those super hot guys there for the taking, although the sex is less connected because of the masks ofc. I have a friend like this, he is a pretty decent looking guy in his 30s, but only likes older men (40 is his absolute minimum, but he greatly prefers much older than that) and the fatter, the better. Human sexuality is much more complicated than most of us think, and our tastes are much more diverse than is generally realised. My theory is that there is actually more variability in accepted beauty standards in the gay community (consider the well-established 'bear', 'silver daddy' etc subcultures) compared to the straight community, because gay people have already had to accept that they are in the minority with their sexual interests, so one-size-fits-all beauty standards do not have the same kind of power. Liking older men is pretty normalised: think how common it is for guys in their 20s now to include 'daddies' in their sexual interests: I'd suggest it might be as much as 1 in 3. I recently raised my upper age limit from 45 to 50, only to have some great experiences with guys already well into their 50s, so it looks like I'll have to raise it again.

I'm not that sure we can make the charge of institutional homophobia stick (as opposed to institutional racism) because frankly this is getting a lot more attention and resources now than at any time since it was first observed in 1970,, since it has mostly remained in Central Africa during that time. Still a lot of confusion around how it spreads: it has probably mutated in such a way as to make it more transmissible through sexual contact (hence its takeoff and then the ways in which it has spread over the past few months) but there are definitely women getting it who claim no sexual exposure so it's far from definitively understood.

We already have an effective vaccine, and even if vaccinated the vast majority of monkeypox cases resolve. It is obviously nothing like AIDS. There may be supply issues now but this vaccine should eventually become available, in a timescale of months rather than years I would expect. Seems clear the sensible conclusion is to moderate your activities until you are offered it.

Agree with above poster, since size/tension is an issue, having him ride you to start off with makes sense: that way he can control pace, depth of penetration, and he's less likely to tense up in fear. I went in July. It was great, got to fuck a lot of hot mares. Most guys wore red hoods, Unwillingly, I skipped the August session due to not being able to get a monkeypox vaccine 😞 I'd say it's better for both if the mares respect the rules of the party and don't try to remove their hoods, and if the stallions focus on fucking the mares rather than each other. Some of the symptoms of monkeypox are quite common to a range of illnesses. I don't know exactly but this was part of the checklist of questions I went through with the doctor I spoke to (see above post)

This was what I was told having called 111 to try and arrange a vaccination for myself (and previously the London monkeypox advice line). STI clinics' websites currently state that they aren't offering phone appointments for vaccines: because I'm not a permanent resident in London I'm not on anyone's books at the minute. I didn't know about the voucher available at the Vault though, that's useful information. I'm going to try and get into one of the walk-in clinics tomorrow. In fairness the doctor who called me back from 111 did say that the situation was changing day by day due to huge demand and limited supply of vaccines. He wasn't able to offer me an appointment though even though I explained I had recently had sex with multiple partners in a sex club.

In London, the vaccine is currently only being offered to known exposures and to people with symptoms.

I remember being told by the staff member who explained the rules/set-up to me that 'the red hoods are on PreP'. This surprised me because I had also assumed that some red hoods might be HIV+. Seems a little irresponsible to be giving out that potentially false information to other customers, but perhaps it was just a slip of the tongue.
