One of my close friends is married w/ kid, and typically when we hang out we try and set up group parties at his place. Occasionally he pulls a surprisingly cute guy, and I realize a few minutes into third wheeling through his record collection that surprisingly cute guy is super into the married dad fantasy. And, flipside, sometimes I invite a guy over without bringing up the "oh yeah my friend is married" thing, and it skeezes him out when he notices. Some hate it and think it's despicable. Yeah, pretty much this. Most of the bug chasers I've met skew depressive even if undiagnosed. Barebacking feels like a kind of intimacy--probably the easiest kind for depressed guys to seek out reliably. Getting pozzed is a deeper version of that. Communities around taboo fetishes like bug chasing are usually tight-knit, and often there's some degree of trust between gifter/chaser even if it's just temporary.
