Anyone who was a member and wanted access before the new software was adopted has access (as far as I know). The method for requesting access outlined in this thread is the protocol for the old software. The only person who has the authority or has ever had authority to give this access is the admin, rawTOP. He turned much of the day-to-day operations over to the moderators, but he is still the only one who can give you access to the non-fiction areas of the Backroom.
