I was told in middle school sex ed that the best way to prevent HIV/STDs was through abstinence; and that condoms were not 100% effective at stopping HIV if I was to engage in sexual activity. She had the unmitigated gall to tell me that the skin of a condom is porous, and the HIV virus can pass through.  Yep, a good old fashioned lie of an abstinence mandated curriculum.

Up until the end of high school, there was a shortage of people to fuck anyways that I had a connection with at school. I waited until the end of my high school days. My first time getting fucked was 100% raw and I never have used a condom since in 15 years.

Nobody I fucked living in my hometown of Cincinnati considered bareback sex as risky, as infection was believed to be more of a problem on the coasts.

It never occurred to me that they in fact were important. Better sex education was too controversial. I knew zero people with HIV.

The flip side is that it’s also unethical to teach lie after lie about sex, I’m hoping that this is no longer the case.

Abstinence only approach is farce; without proper knowledge, people are not going to make educated decisions about what sex is best for them.

I don't think it was so much of a conscious decision rather than an evolution of behaviour.  The ultimate point is simply that it feels better.  The top always, in my experience, fucks harder and with less restraint when raw.  

For me there is no better sensation than skin on skin.  When condoms are used it's not as nice a feeling it simply feels fake.

Honestly never really used condoms all that much. I can count on my hand the times I've had safe sex. When I was younger I didnt know about rubbers as they were called then. I only had raw sex and took plenty of cocks long before i was legal but every one of them was bare. However, I notice no-one here has mentioned that PrEP does NOT prevent STD's, it just minimized (approaching zero) infection of HIV.  There are still other STD's, some which are still incurable such as Herpes and Genital Warts, which scare me more.  I would tell anyone considering bareback for the first time with a stranger (admittedly very hot) has to seriously consider all STD's, most especially the incurable ones.  Contracting either is a one-way ticket and will impact your life negatively.  Not saying that you shouldn't never go raw, but seriously consider the risks before taking the plunge (or, having them plunge in).  While the drugs today make being Pos a relatively small impact on day-to-day life (and sex), there are still issues with side effects and the drugs don't work as well on everyone.  I get that there are kinks, I've got some wild ones myself, but wanting to contract HIV is one I don't understand.

Don't get me wrong, though - I CRAVE raw cock in me all the time.  Sadly, I live in a small rural town and can't play at all, let alone be the whore I'd love to be, without risking my professional life
