Is it possible to find a place that does anonymous testing for this for potential partners, so one does not have to wait months since last event for the antibody test? GermanFucker Posted January 24, 2015 Report Share Posted January 24, 2015 What you are looking for is a so-called PCR test (polymerase chain reaction), which can be performed by a large number of (medical) laboratories. Often blood tests for antibodies and blood samples for PCR testing even go to the same laboratory. The big difference is cost. A PCR test is ten times or so more expensive. While antibody tests are often free as a community service (With the city, county or some organization covering the 5-10 bucks they cost), expect to pay 100 dollars / euros for a PCR test. You need to either find a laboratory that offers anonymous testing directly to costumers or find a local organization / testing facility that offers you the option to get an anonymous PCR for cash. You should specify in which area you're looking. Also you might try calling / emailing local testing facilities. Even if they don't do PCR testing, they might know someone else who does.
