I should've clarified - already on prep here - just haven't fully indulged as a bottom (yet) and thinking about taking it up a couple/several notches as a load taker.  As a top, I haven't asked or cared about a guy's status for quite a few years and fuck any hot ass.  Looking to reach the same level as a bottom too

Been on it a year and a half.... done a handful of bathhouses, however many fuck buds, hook ups and threesomes. I top more than bottom in those situations and not all have been bare, but its proved its efficacy for me. I've had gonorrhea once and possibly another time (did antibiotics anyway, would've been anal and asymptotic). 

 

My boyfriend keeps me from getting too crazy so I'm reigned in a bit, but I've done a lot that I wouldn't have dare been comfortable doing without it... I'm definitely an advocate for it.

No judgment on your taking risks with getting pozzed. Plenty of guys talk about that on here, and lots of people (including me) find that arousing. But you aren't really putting PrEP to the test if you aren't taking Truvada every day as it is intended to be. We already know from the initial studies done on PrEP that the protection noticeably decreases if you don't take it everyday. Missing one dose here and there doesn't seem to matter much. Missing a few days in a row is already known to increase the risk. 

 

Again your gangbang sounds super hot! It just your getting pozzed isn't going to give justsexnowatl or anyone else useful information about how PrEP will protect you if you take it every day as directed.

Like you I'm already on PrEP.  But I am curious, why did you direct this topic specifically to bottoms and vers guys?  Are you not concerned with the risks that tops  face  too? Can we agree that tops can contract HIV from bottoms? Or are we saying that the risk from tops to bottoms far exceeds the risk from bottoms to tops?...so this becomes more of an issue for bottoms.  I am just trying to understand how you framed your question by targeting bottoms and vers guys. It leads me to believe that PrEP matters more to guys who bottom as opposed to guys who top.  Please help me to get a more in-depth understanding about this topic. I am still learning about PrEP and its effectiveness. Thanks.

Your post is very interesting.  Sounds very casual when you said "but that's it" in referring to those other sexually transmitted diseases (STD's).

PrEP, it seems to me, has given us all a license to fuck raw more than ever before. A lot more. And currently STD's like chlamydia and gonorrhea are easily cured with antibiotics. Many barebackers seem to believe that such STD's are an inevitable outcome. STD's are kinda like the collateral damage for the pleasure of barebacking. Nobody wants to get syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, etc. However for me, getting gonorrhea has affected me mentally. It's almost like it hurts my self-esteem. So many people in this world has never contracted any STD yet I have contracted gonorrhea multiple times. Does anyone else here feels this way too?  Moreover I would like to hear from those who rationalize that fear of these other STD's is not an issue. Fucking raw takes precedence. Everything else is secondary.  Am I correct in my assessment?
