Most guys just fuck bare because it feels better, or they can perform better. They may try to use risk reduction strategies, but no strategy is 100% fool proof. I would rather not deal with HIV and it's effects on the body if I can avoid it. But in the end I know that my desire for raw cock means I am could get pozzed unless I go on PrEP but that is something I am comfortable with, because I have educated myself and know the risks involved and what I would be in for if I did test positive. I started PEP roughly 58 hours after the sex, and tested negative with a full blood test aswell as the finger prick test three weeks ago. Now I've got less than a week to go on the PEP, then a month's wait til my next test. Fingers crossed it's worked. The fact I left it late worries me. dude8688 Posted July 8, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Interestingly I've had none of the side effects of the drugs, aside from an ache in my lower back the first two or three days which could have been my kidneys adjusting but it may also have been because I spent five hours sat uncomfortably on a hospital chair waiting for my PEP! Regardless of the outcome I've had a lot of time to reflect, and I guess bareback is now resigned back to the realm of wank fantasy and porn viewing. You just can't trust people out there.
