secretcumslut
Hey guys, I am new to poppers- and I fucking love them. Recently i realized that my bottle didn't give me the full head rush that I got the first few times I used it. Is it possible that the poppers loose potency over time? or am I just getting used to it?
Moderators drscorpio Posted June 23, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted June 23, 2016 They definitely lose their potency over time. Usually they don't last more than a couple of weeks before you want fresh ones. There are several threads on the site where people share their ideas for making them last. You should look around for them.
hamdenbbtm
In my experience, poppers are always most potent when the bottle is first opened. Depending on how long you keep the bottle and how many times you've opened it (over the course of days/weeks), the potency degrades noticeably, although perhaps not completely. Usually by the time you get to the final 1/4 of the bottle, it's probably time for a new one. Poppers, in essence, do go stale. The other thing I've noticed is that (at least in the U.S.) the formulations have changed repeatedly. From what I've read, poppers are in a gray zone, legally, and have to be reformulated each time the then current formula is made illegal. It's also possible, if you're using them often, that you're developing enough of a tolerance that the initial rush you've experienced is not as pronounced as it was when you first tried them. My sense is that the poppers available today are not quite as amazing as those that I first experienced a decade or so ago. But, I still enjoy them, especially when they're fresh. It's a shame, though, that our enjoyment of poppers (and so many other things) is held hostage by know-nothings that make it their business to ban them, but that's the all-too-hypocritical nature of the world we live in.
nastybottom
Want a tip for getting more mileage out of your old poppers? Try pouring some out onto a cotton ball and put that into a small glass jar (I use a baby food jar) and close the lid tight. Let it sit for a few minutes before taking a big hit. Make sure you're sitting or laying down before you do, because this will literally put you on your butt. fuckrogerbb
I learned a tip long ago to keep the lid securely tightened and put them in the fridge when not using them.I live in the USA, but I order my poppers from Europe. The type sold here isn't strong on amyl nitrate if it has any at all. European laws are different as far as amking them and selling them.

The sites I've seen that have European poppers don't ship to the US
