Is there a bathhouse like Steamworks Chicago in the LA area? Which is the best LA bathhouse? Would love some advice and suggestions of where to go. Flex in Hollywood hasn't been very good ever since the city made them shut down the steamroom and jacuzzi. Midtowne Spa in Downtown L.A. is now probably the most similar to Steamworks Chicago in terms of facilities (bathhouse with private rooms, public areas, steamroom, sauna, showers, etc.), although the clientele at Steamworks Chicago on average tends to be slightly younger, more Weho-looking in appearance (if that makes sense) and more likely to bareback than the clientele at Midtowne. If you are willing to travel to San Diego, then Club San Diego is definitely worth checking out. Lots of military guys, gay porn performers and other uninhibited fun guys. Really appreciate it. Slammer will not have as many guys during the week compared to the weekend, but you can still have lots of fun. They have themed nights on Mondays (fetish gear), Tuesdays (gym members get discount) and Wednesdays (watersports). Midtowne Spa is crowded on Tuesdays (afternoon through late night) because rooms are half-price. Also, their monthly blackout party will be on Saturday May 27.
