I stopped because there was blood on the sound, it burned when I pissed, and my urine was pink/red for a day or two. Hi ... it's not unusual for the first few times to see a bit of blood but with perseverance the urethra will stretch and the tight places will open up to give you a future of pain-free & blood-free unadulterated climactic pleasure.
