tallslenderguy Posted February 2, 2018 Report Share Posted February 2, 2018 I've been noticing these ads on a4a for awhile of porn that is attempting to put a story line into the porn vs just showing guys having sex. Some of the more recent ads i have noticed are from men.com. I think they are definitely on the right track, i am much more attracted to porn that looks like real life than just a couple of performers, but it is so contrived, poorly acted and written, that i end up laughing (really hard) instead of getting turned on. One shows four guys, ostensibly having a dinner party together. One couple is hosting, the other is a couple where one has a remote butt plug in and his partner the remote control. The guy with the butt plug in (is really cute) so over acts that it's just hilarious. My only sexual thought is: "damn, i'd like to find a butt plug that is that powerful." In the ad, he is pushing all the dishes off the table, and standing up and grabbing at himself supposedly in response to his partners button pushing. You'd have to be a complete novice at sex and toys to even remotely believe this. Another one shows a supposed gay guy trying to get his "straight" roommate to notice his dick. Again, just the ad iis fucking hilarious (it would never entice me to actually see the whole movie). There is no sound in the ad, just visual, but the guy they picked to play the "straight" dude is SO stereotypically gay, and you do not need sound to tell you that. His response is more "ew, gross," vs wtf, bewilderment, confusion, anger, etc.. Then there is one that shows the "neighborhood pervert" sneaking in for some sex. It shows a guy chasing him away with a baseball bat and I swear you can tell this is the first time that actor has ever held a baseball bat. He looks more like he is cheering at Mardi Gras than chasing an intruder. I thought the one with the butt plug was a job interview where the butt plug was remotely activated on the job applicant surprising the interviewer? The few seconds I saw were over the top but the idea is funny. The other one with the straight roommate plays into the fantasy of many to seduce and turn a straight guy. And who better to seduce than your hot straight roomie? ;-) I am probably in the minority but I do like porn with a storyline for a change now and then. The acting is not good most of the times but sometimes it's actually not bad at all surprisingly, considering these are porn models and not actors. I mean, carrying a story with actual lines is something different than just moaning "oh yeah, fuck my hole". Or grunting "Do you want my load boy"? Most porn with a storyline is not bareback unfortunately. There are some but the majority isn't. At least, the ones I saw. I do like some companies who produce porn like this. I have always liked Men At Play because I have a thing for hot suited guys and office sex. Their models and productions are top notch in that area. And the acting is OK. Some of their earlier productions were BB if I recall correctly (with performers who were real life partners?). Similarly I like UKNakedMen for their stories and settings (Gardener, Police Officer, Tradies and such). Situations you are unlikely to bump into but fantasize about. Stag Homme with their smoldering Latin studs. I am a big fan of Eric Videos which obviously are all bareback. I like Eric's cruising videos of guys in Paris roaming the streets or cruising areas (reminds me of me when I was younger!). KeiranXXL and Darko are some of my favorite performers. And I like Joe Gage's productions for Titan with rugged men and stories set in rural small town America. Just to name a few, I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Yes, I prefer porn to be BB but I do like to watch these as well. It's a welcome change now and then from the straight-in-your-face hole banging vids. I know men.com (I think?) produced some gay porn parodies on major feature films. Haven't seen those so don't know what those are like. The dinner party and the job interview are different scenes from the same movie. I like porn that has a storyline sometimes even if the story is corny and poorly acted. Men has decent production values, but I just can’t get into rubber porn. Bromo and NextDoorRaw both make bareback films with attempts at storytelling. I think NextDoorRaw does a better job of these two. True. But sometimes I am surprised by the acting skills. OK, it's not an Oscar winning performance but not worse than some acting you see in a soap opera. Some porn performers do a better job. Personally, I cringe at story-driven porn. there's no better way to make sure I DON'T watch, with the exception of parody porn. I tend to like those, but mainly because i like the original shows they are parody-ing. As far as sex goes, give me fly on the wall, guys fucking - no story, no cheesy script, no fake motivations, just plain old-fashioned I wanna fuck sex scenes. And internal cumshots!
