A conversation about gun control

The thugs don’t need a gun, they use fists, bats, or a throwaway hunk of rebar. They know it will only be “simple assault” even if they get caught. 

It’s the decent people that need a handgun to protect ourselves.

I highly recomment training. A lot of the classes I have had are how to avoid the legal hassle of shooting someone, and the length of time it takes to decide you need to pull your weapon. (Hint: NOT MUCH)

As for rifles, an oooh scaaary AR-15 shoots the same bullet as a wood stock varmint rifle. If you wanted to protect the schools you could. There are forces that encourage mass shootings so they have an excuse to disarm our population.

 

As for tracking private sales outside the scope of the background check, that would involve full registration. And that ALWAYS leads to confiscation.
