The one gotcha about how the software for this site works is that if you're permanently banned you can't login to request account deletion. (The software is what it is - I don't develop it - I just do what I can with it.) The other day I thought up a 1/2 way decent compromise… I'll make it impossible to view profile pages for users who've been banned for long periods of time. (For those who are techies - I'll return a 410 response code for those URLs.) The page technically will still exist, it just won't be viewable.

I've written some code to do the blocks. I'll test it tomorrow. (It's part of a process that runs daily and I've already run the process today).

This has been implemented. Every week or so I'll update the list of long bans. In the meantime if you try to go to a profile that has a long ban you'll get an error. That means that Google will drop those profile pages from its index (though it may take a week or so).

This website is not for me. I am not a Bug chaser, I am not HIV+ or poz, have no STDs, and am not into BB or raw unsafe sex with men or women when I fuck them.

Just curious - it's been nearly 2 years since you signed up here, and you've made 500 posts, and just now figuring out "this website is not for me"?

Since you are being your typical jaded queen, I joined during the COVID pandemic lockdown.  I like some bare back porn all types: bisexual, gay, and hetero but have decided personally it is best not to have BB sex in my personal life. I do not want to get Hepatitis C.

Guest You know who

Rather impressed rawTOP.

Not sure why you couldn't be upfront about the banning but it appears what you did worked..... thank you.

Sorry I sent all those instant messages but you were being an gunner about it......

Who exactly is being a jaded queen?  If you want your account deleted just make the request.

He means me. Because I questioned how suddenly this site isn't for him, after belonging for nearly two years and making 500 posts - while not actually going through the steps outlined here to request your account deletion.

It's like someone announcing at a party, "This place is tired! I'm over it. And I'm leaving - as soon as everyone has his eyes on me so they can watch me flounce out of here".

I just put something in place so 45 days after you request account deletion your profile page will start throwing a "not found" error. After doing a batch of deletions I usually get a guy or two saying "Why did you delete my account?" or "Why can't I login?" - either they had forgotten that they requested the account deletion, or they didn't logout and someone with access to their computer requested the deletion. This will up the chances that they see something is wrong and cancel the deletion request before it's too late.

I just want to clarify that I'm doing deletions every few weeks. GDPR gives me up to 90 days to do deletions (and only some of you are covered by GDPR). Deletions do not happen automatically or even quickly.

whats it going to take to delete my profile as i have requested it twice   please let me know

Moderator's Note: As is stated above, it can take up to 90 days to delete an account. You have not even been on the site 90 days since you joined in late December. I would suggest having a modicum of patience.

Delete my account now. This is the 3rd time I have requested this. On on other forum websites deletion happens instantly, within 24 hours, and does not take as long as 90 days.

Guest Unable to delete

They can't delete your account. When the website was set up they didn't think people would want to be deleted..... very short-sightedness if you think about the subject matter of the website..... anyway the best you can hope for is a removal of all reference to your user name. You won't be able to contribute though or continue for fantasy fully.....probably why they don't take your request seriously....

You don't get to dictate when, or if, your account is deleted. Nobody is making you log in here, and the site owner would be well within his rights to keep every posting of your public, in perpetuity.

That said, there's a process for getting your account removed, and yes, it can take up to 90 days (which is the time allowed for citizens of EU member states under EU law). As a US resident, it could take longer and it's still perfectly legal, so if you want it to drag on, just keep complaining about it - they probably won't slow-walk your request, but there's no reason they couldn't.

What "other sites" do isn't relevant. When you buy a Toyota, you can't demand it have every feature that a Nissan (or a Honda, or a Ford, or a Kia) has. When you go to dinner in an Italian restaurant, you can't demand they serve you Thai just because some other restaurants do.

If you don't want to be here any more I have 2 questions

  1. Why do you keep logging in?
  2. Why do you keep posting on other threads?

If I wanted to delete my account on a website I wouldn't keep logging in let alone participate in conversations or features of the website.

As far as I am aware, websites only have a legal obligation to delete the information and data for people living in the UK and EU under the GDPR laws that were past. Websites have two options, block access to everyone from UK and EU or adhere to the GDPR laws and allow data deletion.

If the owners of websites wanted, they could ask people to prove they're a UK or EU citizen and only then delete the data/account. There isn't any, that I am aware, legal requirement to delete accounts for people outside of GDPR countries.

If you really don't want to an account here, stop logging in, stop posting and your account will eventually be deleted provided you've requested deletion in the correct way.
