Today, similar options are central station's underground club but check what's on - for a playpit like vibe, try "Pants". "SOP" gets very sleazy, but that's a yellow themed party so not everyones taste. Vault 139 is a less sleazy option - there's a distinct 'after work' crowd in the early evening and then a later crowd. My pet peeve is the after work guys don't clean out at all and that can ruin everyone's fun. Other than that, the smaller saunas like Locker Room, Sailors, etc have a more playpit like vibe. Themes/events vary very much on a night by night basis: naked nights are usually the most popular events these days. I think that’s Wednesdays at both those venues, but check their websites. For consistently large numbers of guys, it has to be the Vault on naked nights (Mondays and Thursdays), and SBN on Sunday afternoons. The Play Pit was before my time, so I can’t really compare- but it’s still possible to have plenty of sleazy bb sex in London, if you plan your availability around the cruise bars’ listed schedule of events. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I excluded SBN from my recommendations etc because Playpit was a small venue - like someone's apartment - and therefore the crowd was pretty small/intimate/friendly. Baker shopfront before it moved further North up the Caledonian Road. They're long videos - both about 1h40. It was quite nostalgic seeing the play spaces I remember. But the real surprise was recognising some of the guys in it... and it left me wondering "where are they now". There was a big overlap with Fort, Hoist, Hardon, saunas and cruising. But there were also new guys and married dicks to ride raw. It’s hard to convey to anyone who never went just how sleazy it was. And yet, I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced anywhere that had the same camaraderie as The Fort had.
