They had a full on sleaziness that places like the Vault and SBN, good as they are, don't match. And I remember the staff joined in. First time I was there, I got a welcoming I won't for get in one of the cubicles. That refreshing lack of attitude, was what made it so special. I never got to Playpit, but I’ve seen the videos. Wouldn’t mind playing with some of the regulars. There was a big overlap with Fort, Hoist, Hardon, saunas and cruising. But there were also new guys and married dicks to ride raw. I never went to Playpit to "play" but I did visit it once because I was doing a bit of porn camerawork around 2010, and the director was going to shoot something there. But don't think we ever did film anything there in the end. I remember hearing about Playpit +, a night specifically for poz guys which I used to DREAM of attending but at that time I was still too frightened to actually do. As for the people in the videos you posted, I know one of them, Drew Marks, who did a few videos back around 2010 but not any more. I just don't feel like the sexclub BB scene is as exciting as it was 10 years ago. Maybe that's my own personal experience though. Berlin has some hidden gems - the tourist scene is something of a moneymaking circus these days. I prefer to go when it is not BLF/Folsom/etc and seek out some of the more offbeat backwaters where the locals hang out. That strategy has led to some of the very best experiences I've had in Berlin. Drew Marks is the one with the white backwards cap. I also met one of the bottoms too - the young lad with dark hair - his porn name is James Allen I think. The only time I went to Berlin "off-season" was in 2012 and I went in October, I think a week or 2 after Folsom. It was dead - every bar I went into was quiet, with locals seemingly dispersed over the numerous venues that were open. For me & my circle of friends, we were there for the clubs and the sesh. I always rawwed but I only fucked in relationships. When friends told me about BBRT & all the parties that were going on around me, I was gobsmacked. I've never been into fisting/slamming & twinks were not my thing (I'd just like to add that I don't shame other peoples kinks, lifestyles, races, age etc), 5+ years later & several property changes across Lambeth, I now live outside London & I'm the complete opposite, just wanting to make up for the the PNP parties/group fucks that I missed out on. yeeahok Posted August 14, 2020 Report Share Posted August 14, 2020 Fort and Playpit were fun but I was just starting to explore the bb world back then. I remember going with a mate to a poz night that was run at the Fort in 2009. Everyone had to buy a ticket in advance, had to confirm that they were poz and had to enter the club at a given time.
