Is it a ratio between age of profile and number of posts (started/added to Because I've been a less active profile for a while as there is little activity in my location.

RawTop may want to address this but as I understand it, location doesn't matter; vast sections of this site are not geographic-specific and anyone can participate in them, so the fact that there are few local personal ads near you shouldn't inhibit your ability to participate here.

If all you're looking to do is hook up with others in your area, yeah, it's probably going to be a long time before you get full posting/reacting/messaging privileges.

Well I’ve progressed up to Member status and still can’t do any messaging other than posting a public message to someone, can’t actually see an option on any profile I’ve looked at to send a message and no equivalent of an inbox to receive one.

Also, we were having problems with spammers making accounts to send private spam messages. Currently new members are very restricted in this area for this reason.

If you had your profile deleted, there is no proof you are who you say you are. This is why we discourage people from deleting their profiles.

I see what you mean. (I rarely message people, so hadn't noticed). But you can always go to Messenger and type in their handle and start the message thread that way.

Click on the "hamburger" menu in the upper right corner. Then you'll see an envelope icon. Click on it and you'll have the option to start a new message.

Hi again RawTOP, when I click that icon I have a Bell icon for notifications, then under that I have:

- Account
- Forums
- Chat
- Blogs
- Gallery
- Other
- Activity
- BB Porn

and nothing else.
