I think you see more editing after the fact with "amateur" video made for OF/JFF/etc. type sights, including more than one camera angle so you can make 3 minutes of fucking seem more like 9. So I guess maybe what's changed is the purpose behind the video, as you note here; from a celebration of doing something kind of daring and slutty (letting people watch you have sex) to a supplemental income stream, small as it may be. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To be honest, you can find almost anything (legal of course) on Pornhub. I do see the amateur stuff is hot and love to see it, but most people are still into professional filming. That's a bummer. I can understand you have a paid site if you are a porn professional but as an amateur you really need to have a high production to keep your subscribers happy I think? I wouldn't pay $$$ for just one or two new videos per month or so. And then those may not even be to your liking. I'm not going to pay dozens of $$ every month to subscribe to all those guys. Those xtube users who do nothing but put 30 seconds clips with link to their onlyfans get immediately deleted from my subscriptions. And my personal tragedy is that normal porn won't do anymore, I'm tired sick of 2 hours long movies made of mechanical blowjobs, guys moaning like cats in heat/saying "yeah oh yeah yeah oh yeah". They bait you with 30 sec video snips and then when you subscribe, so far out of 10 subscriptions, all t same. Majority of the that 30 sec clip turns out to be 1-2 mins...total rip LOL. Then you get spammed with all these shout outs in attempt to get you to subscribe to other models which they make a referral cut. Then they try to spam you once per day with longer versions of "exclusive " contents for 8.99 to 20 each. Some dude who was whatevers even tried to charge $50 !! Totally not worth the money. Since there is barely any info on their page (you see nothing before paying), it is a gamble to figure out who has what. It's really more in the fact that with stuff like Onlyfans/JustForFans and the like being around. they're giving "more bank for your dollar", depending on the type of content that they're showcasing and if they're doing it monthly instead of just paying so much per video. Xtube and sites like it will be around for a while longer, but they do need to do something to keep up with the OF/JFF type sites, without trying to nickel and dime us for content that we all can enjoy. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also a few said they could only upload paid content. Which isn't entirely true as I still see some free uploads. But quite a few of my favs have announced they will stop uploading and refer to their OF or other paid platforms. As I see it Xtube is shooting itself in the foot. I suppose the reason is that the content deteriorated for the reasons other guys have already detailed. I logged on after seeing all of these comments. All my content was deleted and the site said it was removed by the content owner. I didn't remove any of it, so I suppose that means Xtube removed it.
