Just my two cents but from what I’ve seen and heard from some guys I’ve met in the industry, the pornographic film world has just gone through major changes in the past X years , one of which is the fact that most guys who watch porn no longer pay for it since there’s so much free stuff to see online. It also doesn’t pay the actors a whole hell of a lot. They’ll fly you in, put you up in a hotel for the duration of the shoot which is usually 1-4 days and pay you a few hundred. A lot of the guys do it for their ego (self fulfillment) and that they get to indulge in some good sex with hot guys. That said, an ‘actor’ I met told me that it can be difficult to maintain an erection etc...when you have a camera shoved in your face, right below your ass. Clinical atmosphere. Then there’s the pullout and cum scenes and I was told that they often have to shoot several of those and edit them in.
