Here's my take: I can actually cope with condoms in porn. If there's a reasonable correlation of how they got there. So if I see the guy put it on, fine. If I see the bottom orally roll it on with his mouth fine. But FUCKING MAGICAL CONDOMS piss me off no end. In the case of this movie, I've long felt that it was inappropriate, I mean, it basically combines sex with violence, and from what I saw in some of the previews, some of these tops (real beefy macho cowboy types) were fucking the bottoms with condoms before "shooting" them or "hanging" them....now, realistically speaking (and I have no intention of doing this IRL mind you) if I'm gonna take someones life after I fuck them or what not, am I *really* going to worry about a condom? Highly doubtful

Another good example of this is the prison rape themed porns. I saw one a while back where a prison guard was supposedly held down and gang-raped by a bunch of inmates, who were all very careful to use proper lubricants and wear condoms out of very admirable concern for the guard's health and well-being (eyeroll).

I've basically got the same attitude as shadowgames. Rubbers are mostly a dealbreaker for me, both in terms of actual sex and the porn I enjoy. Given a choice between porn with hot, hairy, animalistic men fucking each other like sex-crazed perverts (but wearing a condom) and boring videos of twinks lying back, closing their eyes and thinking of England while some other equally bored top fucks him in a desultory way bareback, I'll very reluctantly choose the latter.

I agree that condoms ruin porn. I don't buy condom porn. What also annoys me is that some guys on xtube tag EVERY video they list as bareback or "BB" - whether it contains bareback or not. The same goes for some of the free video sites. I've sat through miniutes of a sexually exciting build up ( in a clip tagged as bareback ) only to see a condom produced. Major downer. Needless to say, I switch off.
