Anybody else going on the 30th Anniversary cruise in the Caribbean?  I'm headed to Ft Lauderdale for a few days before then will have solo cabin on the cruise.

I'm having trouble finding info on good places to stay in Ipanema.

Im going to be in Ft. Lauderdale for a month.  Does anyone have any suggestions on good weekly rate motels or Airbnbs with a private entrance?Looking for somewhere not crazy expensive but also has enough privacy so I can host guys at my place. 

Would love one of the nude gay resorts but they would be too expensive for a whole month.

I second the Strand Palace.  I stayed there on my last trip.  No key card and its a huge hotel so anyone can come and go without raising eyebrows.  Also in a central location nea a tube stop.

I'm thinking about trying the Vauxhall Travelodge next time.  Probably can get a lot of guys heading to or from the nearby clubs.
