As others have mentioned, it's been a slow build up but the chem stuff has finally happened. The wine was spiked and I'm sure Ev didn't take a normal "vitamin".
If we have a chapter told by the point of view from Jack, we may yet more insight into the real manipulation of Ev. I have a feeling that Ev didn't just loose his ass virginity during this "study session". There are hints that this wasn't the first time that someone has drugged Ev at a party previously. In fact I'm interested to see what will happen to Ev at Phillips party, where he will discover party favours.
