Thanks everyone for the answers. I already feel better after I started taking antibiotics. I assume it's a bacterial sore throat if the antibiotics started working immediately. -
Hi, please excuse my bad English in advance. Exactly ten days ago I had sex with a guy, I blew him, he cum in my mouth and I swallowed. We didn't have anal sex or anything like that. A few days after that, maybe 3 or 4 days later, I started to feel that my throat hurt, the lymph nodes in my neck were swollen. I didn't have any other symptoms - high fever, body aches, rash, sweating, etc. Today I got a fever and went to the doctor, she said it was a bacterial sore throat and it was really bad, she prescribed me an antibiotic and said if it doesn't get better for 3 days, that I have to take injections. I'm curious if these symptoms make you think it's HIV infection or a really bad coincidence that I got a sore throat a few days after I had oral sex?
