As most of you know, a new ordinance has been signed into law in Los Angeles, requiring that all porn filmed in the city of LA use condoms in their scenes. So, being a barebacker, a bareback porn fan, and a LA citizen(native at that), I figure that I would voice my thoughts/concerns about this whole thing.

Obviously, I am against it. I don't agree with it. If reducing HIV/STD transmission is the goal and cause, what good does it do to make a law against an porn. Porn actors having sex does not effect John Q Citizen. The people being effected are people with the whole neg for neg only attitude, which makes them a target for stealth breeders. Or they get infected because their partners don't know their status. HIV Infection wont decrease because of this, it just gives the front of nobility about HIV prevention.

How is this law going to be enforced. No naming names, but a few porn companies film in hotels and motels, and don't make a big scene about them being there. Are they going to ban people from entering Los Angeles if they work for bareback porn companies, is there going to be someone assigned to watched bareback porn to see if they recognize it as a place in Los Angeles? If so, i want that job, I'll apply right now!

Also, city of Los Angeles, does that mean that you can still film bareback porn in Santa Monica or West Hollywood? How far reaching is this law? Speaking of far reaching, what is to stop some "For the sake of the children woman" (uh oh Mindtrip... your misogyny is showing) from saying that the porn industry is a threat altogether, and going after the Porn Industry, signing into law that porn cannot be filmed in Los Angeles.

Also, this does not mean that bareback companies will film safe sex scenes in Los Angeles, it just means they will either not film in Los Angeles, or just film under the radar. I am curious as to how the straight porn industry is taking this news, and I am wondering when a appeal to this law will be filed.6205496180732721325-5238272978348181361?l=mindtrip-lifeintheraw.blogspot.com
