There are more than enough studios who don't pay their performers enough as it is... don't open the door for you, or anyone else, to be taken advantage of for work they are doing, have done and will do. For everyone studio who, in my experience, paid a decent wage for the work their models do, there are/were 5-10 who do/did not. I get the fantasy of wanting to do it. Just remember that it is a BUSINESS, and a multi-billion dollar business at that. A less than decent 'studio' makes even more money by paying their models next to nothing because they know how much the guy wants to do it. Don't get me wrong, I know a majority of performers in the movies are not doing the movies as a full time career. And there's nothing wrong with accepting what the studio offers for payment. it is absolutely 100% a personal choice. I LOVED the day I spent filming for Treasure Island... Had wanted to work for them since I saw WHAT I CAN'T SEE... And I went into it with a very strong understanding of what to expect when I got there. And when it was over, I was very happy that I had done it.
