The collection of comments received over the time of this blog contains a few themes aside from the normal desire to do me harm or do me pleasure. Among the chief other themes: "I wish I knew." You could have known had you listened. As a young gay man in my twenties, I had my own mentor who assisted in my development. I think it's time I might consider taking on a protégé to teach him what I have learned. This practice of mentoring has long been used since ancient times. You might be wondering whether you qualify.
