Mjai4854
Hello all I am seeking feedback with my long question. I hope I don't sound uneducated but with this topic I am. I know what neg means so that's good now onward what is undeactable ? And then status unknown but on prep? I'm currently neg and been tested and just got on prep going on second month yet still haven't had any fun. As I read stories and postings and ads I start to not understand what exactly all these type of status are and exactly what will prep protect me from if I do choose to go bareback(??) einathens
negative: the virus is not present in your system. positive: the virus is present in your system. undetectable: the virus is present in your system, but medication suppresses it enough to prevent transmission. unknown: the virus hasn't been tested for, so status is unclear. I don't know about 'unknown on prep.' seems like they'd test first to see if you have the virus the medication is supposed to prevent you from receiving. prep will not keep you safe from anything other than hiv.
