San Francisco Options

Will be in town in early October and wanted to check out the bathhouse scene.  Any votes on where to go on a Friday night?  Steamworks or the party at Natoma?  How is the Sunday afternoon party at Steamworks?  

And one dumb questions.  I've only been to a local bathhouse where footwear is not required.  I see both places require appropriate footwear.  What do you recommend?

It's a tossup between the two. Both are viable options with obvious differences. SW is outside of the city and thus more accessible to suburban types. It also has a hot tub and steam room, so bring flip flops or shower shoes if you're headed there.  Everyday casual footwear is the norm at 442. It's is in the heart of downtown and is usually busiest on Saturday- especially for cumunion. The other nights are more hit and miss. Good weather brings the horny locals out.
