concerned1 Posted September 7, 2017 Report Posted September 7, 2017 (edited) Unless you have the money, professional "escorts" are too expensive to be using on a regular basis. Do street prostitutes still exist in London? Male ones, that is. I know that for a long time, there was the railings outside Piccadilly Circus tube station which was nicknamed "the chicken rack" - where young rent boys used to stand and wait to be picked up by men. Alas, this is no more. I wish that I had been born several years earlier than I was....as I feel I've missed out. Have apps and the internet killed off rough, street trade? Are "rent boys" a thing of the past and have they been replaced by professional "escorts" altogether? If anyone knows of any place in London where guys can be picked up on the street...please do let me know. I bet there isn't any though. Also would be interested to hear from guys who are old enough to remember the days of the chicken rack and other street rent boys and any experiences you may have had? Did anyone on here ever use street boys and what were they like!? Where was it? Really interested, as it's really seedy and I just love seedyness. Edited September 7, 2017 by concerned1 3 1
concerned1 Posted September 7, 2017 Author Report Posted September 7, 2017 (edited) A rent boy patiently waits for custom at the "chicken rack" in Piccadilly Circus. Judging by his clothes, I'd say this was the late 1980s or early 1990s? Photo from The Sun newspaper. Edited September 7, 2017 by concerned1
