Anyone had any experience with the "in home" testing kits, where you get the results in 20 mins? I live in Australia, and would like to test but a member of my family has access to the national register of HIV positive people, and as much as I am a pig there is no way I could have my family knowing - so that precludes me from having an official blood test done here.

I do get to the USA quite regularly, so getting it done there wouldn't be a problem... I read about OraQuick Advance, which tests for HIV1 & 2 - I think that would be the one I want to use - problem is, it looks like you have to go to a doctor to get it...

Any suggestions? I want to be tested for HIV 1 & 2, with in home results...

(and please - can I request no "it's important you get the blood test in Australia anyway" responses - that's not what my question is... thanks!)
