Hotel For Door Ajar Breeding

What's a good choice for a French Quarter, walkable to bars, that's good to host Door Ajar Breeding? Doesn't have to be a sleeze hotel; would prefer a place I could comfortably stay and "host" when the mood strikes. However, if it's more fun to have a "play" space, open to getting a sleazy room for anonymous hosting.

Unfortunately most of the hotels in the quarter use key card access to the room floors.   Sorry

we lost all the easy to use play spaces...so that makes coordinating such an activity hard.
