I was googling this blog and came across mostly posts that I have made or that fellow bloggers have made about me. However I came across a Facebook Page Against Bugchasing. Now, for one, I must commend them. It's good to see anti- barebackers doing something other than jacking off to bareback porn and bareback blogs. Afterwards they all get together while washing their hands of cum and talking about how evil barebackers are. I do not take objection with them doing this. Everyone has the right to join together with people of like minds. The Bareback Bloggers, the Twitter group the #BBBH, anti barebackers, feminist, masculinists, we all have the right to discuss our opinions and surround ourselves with those who agree with and support our way of thinking and living. Here's what I do take objection with, he took reference to this post. And goes off to say that I sound like a bug chaser. Just because I dont regret being poz, that doesnt make me a bugchaser. I simply do not regret the path my life has taken, and wanting to be neg and wishing I could erase the past only leads to frustration and depression, more than likely I will die with this virus in me, i might even die because of it. I accept that. And unlike many "You be DDF" bareback bottoms on craigslist, I understood that my actions had risks. I saw being HIV+ as a risk, not a goal. It was a risk that I did not allow to deter me in my quest for pleasure. Another reason that I couldn't be considered a chaser is this... I got HIV from topping. There is NO SUCH THING as a chaser who is topping, if you want HIV you are bottoming, you are upping the ante on your risks, and being a raw top is lower risk. But, they want to compound the barebacking stigma by marrying it to the bugchaser stigma. Am I complaining, no I dont give a shit about the stigmata people want to inflict, stigma needs consent to stick, remember that guys. Now, this group is built out of someone wanting to make a change and bring something that he deems a crisis to others, I cannot and will not fault him for that, but, he should get his facts straight, thats all. Then there is the comment on the top of the page: ANY1 WHO WOULD WANT TO CATCH HIV ON PURPOSE SHOULD BE SHOT DEAD! Really, seriously where is this gun toting, baseball bate weilding assassin that always gets invoked when barebacking is mentioned.
