uk places to visit

I live in the north east in a small village making it tricky to find hook ups. I usually travel around the uk throughout the year hitting up new city's  clubs, pubs and public cruising spots.

it would be great to find a campsite or similar place that caters to gay men and holds singles events etc.  mainly because as nice as staying in hotels is they soon add up.

would be great to spend a long weekend sipping cold beers in the summer sun with like minded guys and finding semi private spots outdoors to have fun maybe with an audience.

any recommendations of tips on city's to visit, camp sites, hotels, clubs, pubs, events, cruising areas etc etc would be greatly appreciated.

also trying to choose a city to visit for pride this year?

You want rosebay campsite near Peterborough. I’ve never been, despite living locally, but a few guys I’ve met heartily recommend it
