kinkytop Posted March 23, 2023 Report Posted March 23, 2023 Hey guys, was wondering if anyone can help with this - I'm a Poz and Undetectable guy and was wondering if anyone knows whether HIV superinfection is still a risk, and if so, how much of a risk? Particularly asking as a UK based guy as I know U=U is (quite rightly) mentioned a lot here, but there's not a great deal of information about how Undetectable poz guys can have happy fulfilling sex lives. I love being a slutty top - there's nothing better than sinking my dick into a creamy hole. Can anyone offer any advice on this? Is it better just to use condoms? Hoping that my joyous breeding days don't have to be over - so if anyone could help a slut out that would be great! :p
Guest Posted March 23, 2023 Report Posted March 23, 2023 Hard to treat HIV Superinfection is rare but the incidence remains there. It's not theoretical. This article from the CDC in the US is helpful [think before following links] https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/hiv-transmission/hiv-superinfection.html but the upshot is that if you and your partner are both undetectable, U=U regardless; you cannot pass on HIV infection and that includes to another previously infected person. Hope that helps.
