The fact that no company is ready to hire in this economy means I’ve shit out of luck. Now out of savings after more than six months of being unemployed, it’s time to get serious about a career shift. And that’s why I’ve been mostly absentee. I’ve been considering this move and making some hardcore moves to do so. Funny thing when you make such a decision, life begins to move to line up an opportunity. Not exactly the opportunity I expected, but nonetheless, one must be open to them. So moving into the adult realm of marketing, my first opportunity comes with some remarkable challenges, not the least of all is that the two of them are straight. I’ve always been leery of the gay-for-pay genre. This probably won’t stop me from being such, but these two young bucks I met while on business in Alabama certainly forced me to consider them seriously. Even more interesting that I’m launching both their and my career direction without the core focus of my own interest in mind: Barebacking. I wanted to address this here in my personal blog. As as part of the Bareback Brotherhood (#BBBH) and other places, I’ve made it extremely clear that barebacking is a choice. I want that choice respected. Likewise, when I begin working with adult industry studios, websites, performers and even amateurs dipping their toes into the waters, I will educate them about their choices. Aaron and Ronnie aren’t close to fucking (yet). If the Bubba Brothers make it there, we’ll have a sit down, although I already know how Aaron feels about it. Another young man, with whom I am speaking and might sign on board later, also has his head on straight what he wants to do in regards to barebacking. Despite where today’s gay porn studios stand with seemingly strict lines between barebacking and condom porn, I’m not going to hold such a strict line. I’m not going to be voraciously mean and restrict actors from working because they’ve become positive. I won’t just represent barebackers either. I will gladly work with those who have reservations about such and only want to do condom porn. Such is why I chose to start working with two straight men.
