Dating Green-Flags 😀

These days, many of us are quick to call out red flags in potential partners and in the relationships we see unfolding around us. Green flags, on the other hand, tend to get a lot less attention.

The terms come simply from the idea that green means good to go, while red means stop and watch out. Red flags call attention to issues; green flags signal that you're safe to proceed.

They listen well

The relationship moves at a comfortable pace

They know what they want

They're kind—consistently

They're easy to be around

They treat others well, too

Do you have any other green- flags to add look forward to hearing your thoughts

Have a great week and weekend

Carlos 😀

Curiosity is a precursor to empathy, learning, and growth, so that's something to look out for.

It's good when people show that they have self-awareness, can ask for what they want, and can say what they feel. I try to avoid people-pleasers because it can belie other problems (inauthenticity, codependency, repressed emotions, possible proclivities to manipulation)

Being able to laugh at oneself is a good sign.

Respect for boundaries and the ability to express them.
