Woof bar

Hi all,

Has anyone been to the Woof bear bar in Berlin? I am planning on going to Berlin in October and want to visit. Just curious if anyone here has been and had some views.

I've been there on my trips to Berlin. I usually only go to Woof if there is a special event there during BLF or Folsom. Sometimes the gay skin-heads have their event there. So my opinion may be skewed by this.  

It's a bear's bar, and it seems more friendly social and not as full-on cruisey and seedy as Scheune or The Bull, and not as fetishy as Scheune or New Action. On the nights I've been the darkroom has been quiet relative to other venues. I get the impression you pickup in the bar rather than going out back to find someone. 

On occasions I've been they have been alternating between episodes of The Muppet Show and some vanilla porn on the screens - which is quirky. 

If you go on a normal night then you may have a slightly different experience.  

There are loads of bars in the area - and it pays to explore. If you're a bear (or like bears) you don't have to go to Woof to have a good time. There's lot of other options.

Thanks for your experiences. I like bears and certainly plenty in Berlin! I’ll explore the area as have been to Scheune before.

Hi,

I have been there a couple of times and always have had good times. In the dark rooms I have given always loads to the guys there. You can also chat with people, have a beer and when things are right, you can just walk to the cabins area. The bathroom has some space for improvement. Anyway, I can recommend.

I am not now. Planning to do a eurotrail from Barcelona to Copenhagen in Dec-Jan through Paris and Köln.
