folsom or pride tip

hello there.
I'm planning to be in Berlin in the summer and wondering the best time to go. There's Folsom of course in august and the pride month and parade between june and july and both seem good boosters for looking for breeding opportunities.

Never been to folsom and although I love to make new experiences and go beyond my limits I dont have much leather/fetish gear nor experience of it, so my doubt is if this could either prevent me from taking full advantage of the event (for example I've seen the notorious PIG party has a dresscode of leather and rubber, both of which I am lacking atm) or make me a less interesting pick for tops compared to other bottoms whom are into it.

Pride seem to me to be a less crowded (I guess, but maybe I'm wrong) but also less specifically themed choice and still with better odds than other dates.

What would you suggest? am I worrying for nothing?
