All of you who voted for Trump, how to you rationalize to yourself that he is giving $40 billion of our money to Argentina while also screwing American cattle ranchers?

Just curious how you pretend he isn't a lying grifter that has sold pardons to crypto fraudster and pocketed billions by selling out America.

Please, how do you rationalize his bullshit? I seriously want to know cause I have studied history, politics, economics, and the law and Trump is historically unique for how corrupt he is and how readily he sells out America's interests for his personal gain and I just can't understand how anyone can look at that and say "yes, that is what I want and what I voted for". I grew up a Republican, I voted for George HW Bush. I'm a moderate but I can't understand how anyone can say yes, Trump deserves to be our leader and I support him.

Help me understand how you can support his naked corruption.

As someone who’s not a Republican but did have certain hopes for Trump, I was Initially happy to see signs that he was taking positive steps in Israel (ceasefire negotiations), Ukraine, corruption (USAID), deficit reduction (DOGE). free speech (dismantling mis-dis-information boards in government pressuring social media censorship and fighting EU Digital Services Act), foreign aid, etc., I have seen too many counter examples (Iran bombing, loss of momentum in Ukraine, Venezuela, failure to capitalize on DOGE and ramp up of military budget, deportation of legal residents due to pro-Palestinian views to see him as any less ambiguous than pretty much ALL presidents before him.
