Kim Davis failed in her challenge to overturn same-sex marriage. Actually, Davis wanted to challenge the legality of the fine that was issued to her by a jury verdict, requiring Davis to pay $100,000 in emotional damages, and $260,000 in attorney fees. By invalidating the verdict, the SC would have granted the right to refuse issuing of marriage licences to same-sex couples by anyone under their religious beliefs. Am I wrong?
