Exactly @bareback-flipflop! Point is that for anyone travelling to another country and wanting to meet locals, best thing is to go on the apps most used in that region. That's where you get the critical mass. Indeed, Romeo is widely used throughout Europe, except Spain, Portugal, the UK and Ireland. 
Grindr & Scruff are worldwide, kinda like Starbucks coffee: universal but lacking local flavour. Similar to when Europeans go to Asia: we sample local food (and men 😁), not just the McDonalds!
