Best thing I ever did was rush a fraternity in college. Made fantastic friends for life. I came out and found tons of unexpected support from my brothers. But I never hooked up, not with one of my brothers and not with a brother from any other frat.
With my husband out of town, I got online to see if there were any guys looking to meet. I connected with Nate on a gay app and invited him to dinner. I don't do hook ups, I like the emotional connection.
He's a young professional, the kind I go for. We're talking and he mentions that he's a Sigma Chi. I'm a Lambda Chi Alpha. Soon we're talking about all the things we got up to. Comes out that he was president of his chapter. I was in a great fraternity but honestly Sigma Chi always had the hottest guys. Maybe it was the drinks but I worked up the courage to invite him back to my place.
