Oh, sure, in hindsight I "should have known better". AIDS was still a huge killer and safer sex campaigns had started within a few years of becoming sexually active (and perpetually horny!). But I don't blame myself for getting infected as much as I used to because nothing, in my experience, is better than feeling a guy's hot love juice shooting up my ass!
As for wearing a condom when I top, it just doesn't work for me (neither do latex gloves when I wriggle my small hands into a dude's Crisco-lubed hole).
