At first I thought it was laziness and avoidance. I topped some guys and was hooked on the experience and now I want to take loads. As I've continued thinking about all of this, I realize the truth is that I'm not seeking out PrEP because I'm a bit of a passive chaser. I don't intend on having HVL partners, but I won't know for sure since I'm open to playing with u=u guys and neg guys all the same. I've opened up a bit to the fact that I'm turned on by the risk, piggy play, poz talk, and eventual conversion as I continue to ease into this path.

You can't have it both ways. I'm married, not a bug chaser, but I understand that it will happen at some point the more I play around because I'm not on PrEP.
Pulling out is not a 'plan' to mitigate anything. You can either resolve to accept the consequences of play, or take preventative measures to mitigate the risk (to extreme minimums, but other STIs exist to infiltrate your marriage, so good luck w/that).
Trying to have both ways you've mentioned is complete fantasy, and maybe that's where it should stay for now to fuel your jack sessions. Only you can pick the way forward.
