  1. As a recent college student/current grad student I would advise you to really consider your decisions. While many guys on here that have jobs or are in other countries that give them healthcare coverage, we sadly are not usually in that boat. Before you decide anything look at what's best for you, not just some guy on here's fantasy. Take some time and look into health issues and maybe Pre-exposure meds if you want to keep BBing and are worried about the consequences.

Also just to add my voice to the chorus, more guys covert from "neg" guys that are really just unmedicated than undetectable. It's a better idea to assume all are Poz and unmedicated. Best of luck with what you decide.

  2. I think I heard the procedure he had has a 30% death rate. Personally I'd rather live with HIV.

Depending on the resistance of the strain I think I would agree with you. I remember when this story first broke way back there and they said the procedure wouldn't work for very many people. Bearbandit makes a great point about it being a good first step though.

  3. Hi guys, this is my first post but I've been reading the site for years.

I live in NYC a I have tons of friends(single and married) that slowly but surely agree with me that BB porn and POZ porn are hot as hell, i find it funny that deep down most of us find it HOT but rarely talk about it.

I have at least 5 or 6 friends all NEG that agree with me, we are twisted pigs! hehehe

    I totally agree.

  4. Agreed, same here, some guys even go as far as to stop communicating with you if you have an uncut cock!! weird eh?

Not being biased or nasty, but most americans seem to have this issue, that said this site seems to be uncut friendly too. :)

Well most guys I know that talk about it think they are all dirty or the skin will always cover the head. I usually wait before offering my first hand views on these myths and the enjoyment. Pretty fun to say this after they've put their foot in their mouths.

Love a good Brit or uncut friendly guy ;)

  5. Definitely would take it, since I would be less worried about vaccine side effects. I just wonder if they will come up with one or have to create one for all the variants of HIV out there currently and adapt it as needed. The struggle I wonder about is the meds they are offering as preventative like Truvada, recently FDA approved, that could have longterm side effects. Do you take the pill that may or may not stop conversion and risk later health issues or just take chances? No easy answers here.

  6. Certainly couldn't say for certain, syph is native to the the americas so a partial reason could always simply be geographic isolation, a much lower number of europeans sleep with americans than americans sleep with americans every year (obviously), so the disease stays relatively focused in the americas

It seems very possible that rigorous screening in the UK also reduced cases to a background level by the 1990s (less than 300 cases a year nationwide), but since then there has apparently been a bit of an outbreak which started in 1997 and spread to London by 2001, but still low numbers, i.e. 1900 cases in London between 2001 and 2004 in a city of 8.2 million

    Found the data here: http://www.eurosurveillance.org/ViewArticle.aspx?ArticleId=497

Wow that makes a lot of sense, but I never really thought about it. I guess I just figured with globalization and trade it was as common everywhere as here. So far I've stayed clear of any STDs, but in college syph and chlamydia were rampant. At one point we were told the school thought something like 5 or 6 out of 10 students had chlamydia, most asymptomatic, so they started really encouraging STD testing.
