Where is your source regarding this list? As far as doublelist goes, the site is based overseas, the feds have no jurisdiction over it. They also can't seize a website if no crime is being committed. Remember, this all started over backpage.com (which is well known to have been conducting illegal activities on the site.) CL not so much...I think they jumped ship way too fast!

Hey, Is there anyway to turn off my user id on here being indexed in Google search engine results (and other search engines as well?) I'm not terribly fond of the fact that people can Google my user id (that I use on other sites) and see that I have an account on here, where is the privacy concerns on here? No other gay sites that I'm on indexes my user id and populates it in a Google search. I'm thinking I'm going to have to create a new account on here because of this, I'm not a fan of this practice at all. -
Guys...I have good news for you! I just discovered this a few days ago from one of the forums on CL. Apparently just HOURS after CL shut down the personals, a new site was born to replace it...and it's registered overseas (France to be exact!) The site is doublelist.com and it's already booming! Keep in mind, it's only a couple weeks old but it does look to be the new CL when it comes to the personals. Read the FAQ or HELP section, they stress the site is only going to get bigger and better in the days/weeks and months to come. Please help spread the word and post responsibly, please don't post illegal stuff.
