The MAGA Party has gone hard against both, in rhetoric and in policy have been much harder on legal immigrants than illegal. Their main accomplishments in immigration policy has been to lower quotas, stall processing of requests to legally immigrate, and force those already here legally to jump through hoops to renew, or change the type of visa they are legally in the country with.

bullshit. best part of all the illegal border crossers is they are taking money that should be used for Americans away. Gays are being pushed aside. You support this. pathetic

According to the FBI, the shooter was one Thomas Matthew Crooks, age 20, of Bethel, Pennsylvania. He is also, according voter registration records, a Republican.

I used to think that about Donny boy.  His TV show I believe explains why there is a vacuum in space.  🙂  His false claims about Obama got so old I figured all would take him for the moron he is.  And yet, here we are!

    which false claims?

  4. I think electing Harris will be great! She is More far left than Bernie Sanders! She will so help poor American’s to continue to be poor! She will fully  open our borders so cites like Chicago and New york will take tax money for the poor  to pay for the illegals. Raise taxes, keep the worst inflation going. Harris is the best choice o if you love socialism.

Why would anyone want government to control you??

I have lived near Tampa for 12 out of the last 15 years. And I can tell you I’ve gotten plenty of action all sorts of action. Three out of our four  bath houses have closed during that time but there are still places to cruise. But one needs to rely on apps to get cock. I’m also close enough to pack a bag and head down to Fort Lauderdale or east to Orlando.

same for me, but i live south of Sarasota, so travel more for fun. But the relaxed close to beach live is what i chose. Lived the big cities fast style. Wears ya out

Any places to play around there? ABS, baths, cruising areas?

No baths south of Sarasota. Tampa/St Pete about an hr drive. FTL/Miami 150 miles east. cruising area not that I know of, lot of gays in the area, visitors.

I’ve been busy the last 7 months with construction on my home, so have not dived deep into the gay goings on yet.

I picked my house on location for walkability, laid back, beach, dtn area etc. I’ve lived in many a big cities, crazy life in SoCal.

If I need a weekend of going to baths bars etc, I book a hotel room and drive to ftl, st pete etc. Or I fly out to Palm Springs and stay w friends. Then come home to laid back, not a lot of people or traffic island beach life.

@RawNYTop - another financial issue to think about with Florida is that insurer's are requiring home owners to put a new roof on their house every ten years.  I got this information from friends who have sold their house and moved near Ashville, NC, just a few months back.  This was not always the case.  My parents moved to Florida from Pennsylvania in 1987, they owned two homes until their deaths in 2017.   I don't recall at any time they had to replace their roof, I would have known.  Obviously things change in 47 years, I understand that.  But I don't know how many people realize that the ability to garner and keep home owner's insurance is getting increasingly difficult in the "Sunshine State".  If I am mistaken regarding these new requirements I welcome a correction from other BZ members, but I was under the impression that the middle class and those on fixed incomes were being forced out in a way.  Where will everyone go?  I have no clue.

    Seems details are missing.

I live on a island south of Sarasota. 2.5 blocks / 10 houses to the gulf.  I do have different policies on my home. Not in a flood zone. If a insurance company requires a roof replacement, there are other issues. Details are missing.

  8. Palm Springs is nice. But suggest you rent first. It is a strange mix, it can be lonely for a bit as most of the guys have groups. Lot of drama and guys looking to use older men.

Costs are a big concern, it gets more expensive everyday. The all democratic state government is stumbling over each to see who can come up with the craziest new stupid bills. Property taxes 1.25% based on sale price, income tax ( top tier 13.5% ), sales tax, license plat fees huge, gas tax just jumped .50 gal for the carbon tax, electric bills going up ( you have to help offset for the less fortunate. CA is just not what it used to be when I moved there 25yrs ago.

I moved to FL last fall, south of sarasota. I feel more relaxed. Close to the beach, great neighborhood/neighborhood. No one cares if you’re gay. The news has everything over hyped about the stupid don’t say gay.

  9. POZ AIDS patient. Probably infected in late 90’s Chicago or early 2000’s in LA. diagnosed in 2010 full blown AIDS.

Always Barebacked, so do not know who infected me, or it could have been from PNP’ing.

Still a barebacking only, knew the risks and accepted them. Really do not think to much about being hiv poz. just take my pill every night and see my doctor once a year.

Know I infected a few guys, they knew the risks also. Still friends with them.

  10. Deal breaker. I do not even have condoms in my house. Accepted a long time ago, even being a young man growing up with AIDS ravaging the community. That I only wanted to have BB sex. I knew the consequences and accepted it. I did at some point become POZ, I knew it would happen with especially PNP in Southern California. It did become AIDS for me, Dealt with it, over came it. But has not changed my choice to only BB. Frankly do not really think much about being POZ.

AIDS/HIV+ on meds, low viral load and low CD4 count. Because of previous opportunistic illnesses which led to my AIDS diagnosis, my status remains an AIDS diagnosis.

Yep, once diagnosed with AIDS, you always will be classified as a AIDS patient.   Happened to me 15yrs ago, do not know, but full blown AIDS. I kinda knew but just ignored it.
