i think what will likely happen is that there will be a resurgence of blue dogs in 2026. fetterman isn't going to be a manchin at all: he's likely going to be part of a potential reset the democrats may take to go further to the right. recent polling does suggest democrats are out of alignment with the general electorate, so i wouldn't be surprised they do step further right. you will see more and more democrats eventually approve or try to outflank trump's economic positions. they will be more muted on gun, abortion, and lgbt policy.

if you can't swallow meds, you are condemning yourself to a death sentence. if you can get on injectible cabotegravir for prep, that would probably be best. you don't want a disease that requires daily pills vital to continue living if you cannot take oral medications.

I accept the odds are not in my favour at all, I know I am most likely if not inevitably positive - despite being exclusive top in all BB situations I have done (I know of many positive guys who got infected being the top on only one or a couple of occassions....so the odds for me are dire)....I'm already going through the accepting phase of my new virus, what I want to know is not whether I'm infected or not because I am (or at least most likely am)....I want to know whether I should continue to BB (by attempting to sero-sort or whatever) or should I just use condoms from now on, should I just do whatever I feel like doing on the occassion?

I know it sounds paradoxical but undetectable poz guys are safer than your random supposedly neg guy. I know this is utterly verboten to speak of on this site, but if you can't handle the possibility of becoming poz, don't bareback with casual partners and use condoms until you get on PrEP.

One of the vain reasons I had considered bugchasing in the past is that I have felt ostracized from the main gay community, and had believed that the poz community would be more supportive?
