They have a sliding gate in them for putting on. I have the 44/35/32mm and 44/35/42mm versions. Wear them a lot for several days at a time. With the 32mm version I need to put some clear sticky tape over the gate to keep it in place. The 42mm gate is stiff enough to stay in place without tape.
