If he's serious he needs to follow your second suggestion and find guys who have been undetectable for (six, ideally) months. Also, I'd be cautious as the caughtlads thing originated from the north east: they've been quiet, in that their web page hasn't changed in over a month, and the tweets stopped about the same time.
