Hello and thanks for reading. As some of you may know, I had already called for contributions earlier in the year. The subject matter was an academic investigation of bugchasing/giftgiving and its structures. The study has been well received, so I'd like to thank you whether you've taken part or not, and whether you've thought about participating or not.

The reason I am writing again is because the few journalistic pieces out there about bugchasing are depressingly condescending and pathologising. In short, they see this as 'crazy'. I wish to challenge that notion, and need as much information as possible to do it. I plan on doing a long-form piece on the subject, and need more contributions. Please get in touch if you'd like to share your experience.

Please note that your anonymity will be fully guaranteed. No personally identifiable information will be collected, and you will be referred to (if at all) in the text through double acronymised aliases e.g. John Smith becomes JS which becomes a random series of letters, like AP.

I look forward to reading from you.
